New Institute of Management Building Complete
Practical Completion at the new Institute of Management (IoM) building for the University of Bolton was successfully achieved in September 2017 and now the flagship £6.5m building is operational to students.
The IoM becomes the academic home to over 60 staff and can accommodate up to 2,500 students. The building features five storeys of high specification teaching areas, business and office space as well as a café and roof terrace.
Spawforths acted as Architect and Employer’s Agent on behalf of the University to produce concept designs, submit advertisement consent, developer liaison, oversee the fit-out works and undertake contract administration. The fast track 7-week design & build fit-out programme was complete on time and budget.
