Planning Permission Granted for Featherstone Hall

Spawforths, on behalf of Thomas Peterson Ltd, has designed and secured planning permission for the restoration of Featherstone Hall, North Featherstone which has been cross-subsidised by the development of 11 new dwellings within the grounds of the Hall.

Featherstone Hall is a Building of Local Interest, which is in need of significant restoration.  On behalf of Thomas Peterson Ltd, Spawforths Architectural Team designed 11 new dwellings in the grounds of the Hall and the sympathetic restoration and conversion of the Hall into 3 dwellings along with the restoration of the former Coach House.

The Planning Team submitted the planning application and negotiated the cross-enabling and viability case for the scheme to secure the safe future for this heritage asset.

The scheme was well received by the local community as it was saving a local landmark building and no objections were received from consultees.

Should you wish to discuss any issues arising from this scheme, please contact Andrew Rose or Jo Buxton.
