Spawforths Study Tour 2019 - Almere
It’s time for Spawforths to go on a CPD adventure! We are off to Almere in the Netherlands to broaden our knowledge of large-scale custom and self-build developments. Almere is one of the fastest growing cities in Europe and is the first self-build project to be delivered on such a large scale. It should prove to be very insightful. While the office will still be open, a significant number of our staff will be out of the country on the afternoon of Thursday 10 October 2019 and also Friday 11 October 2019. Read more

Opening of Phase One of The Hepworth Wakefield Garden
Spawforths provided Planning Advice and Services to secure Planning Approval for the Garden in February 2018 alongside The Hepworth Wakefield team and Tom Stuart-Smith. We hope that the garden continues to grow the cultural offer within Wakefield and the regeneration of the River Calder Area of the city which began with The Hepworth Wakefield gallery. Read more
Bridge Homes Starting on SIte - Flanshaw, Wakefield
Our project at Flanshaw for Bridge Homes is starting on site. Spawforths' design team have worked on behalf of the client to deliver planning, architectural and landscape services for the 55 unit scheme. The project received permission in July with all pre commencement requirements negotiated during the application process thus allowing a swift start. The scheme delivers a mix of for sale and affordable properties and includes a community village green for the use of residents and is Bridge Homes fourth project in the Wakefield area. Jack Lunn Limited will be the contractor for this project. Read more
Scrap Creative Reuse Art - Away Day 2019
Our six monthly corporate away day was held at Scrap Creative Reuse Art this year and acted as the perfect way to welcome our four new employees into the teams. We used re-purposed business waste to create giant masks which were then modeled by the staff. It was an intense but fun day out of the office! Read more

Kingston Village - 900 new family homes in Newcastle
On behalf of Banks Group the Spawforths' Masterplanners have prepared a Masterplan Framework and Design Code for a 900 home Neighbourhood Growth Area to the North of Newcastle. Read more
Riverside Urban Village Masterplan Framework Approved
Our Masterplan for a Riverside Urban Village, approved by Cabinet on 19 March, sets out a vision to develop up to 4,000 quality homes, supported by new schools, roads and a local centre. It will be located on a 160 hectare site in South Dewsbury, on land to the south of Ravensthorpe and south-east of Mirfield. Read more
