Principal Chartered Town Planner
As a Principal Chartered Town Planner, Alastair has experience in project managing small and large projects. He also works in multi-disciplinary project teams to co-ordinate and support the submission and progress of planning applications, EIAs, planning appeals and viability negotiations. He is involved in all aspects of the planning process and has developed relationships with both private sector clients (including housebuilders, property and regeneration companies) and private individuals.
Alastair was elected as a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in October 2013 and has over five years experience working in the private planning sector.
Alastair has gained in depth experience and knowledge on complex planning issues in the residential and commercial sectors through working on a wide range of projects across the North of England. In particular, these include small development proposals including those within the Green Belt, regionally recognised large urban mixed-use extensions and brownfield regeneration sites, Local Authority site searches and strategic land promotions.
Away from his desk, Alastair is a keen table tennis and squash player and enjoys visiting Wimbledon in the summer to watch the tennis. He also enjoys socialising with friends and visiting Eastern European cities to sample the local beer.
