Summary
Spawforths prepared a feasibility study to assesses the scope to amagamate two University Schools on Council owned land through the integration of joint activities as a Joint Sports Campus. A fundamental tenet of the Study was to assess the feasibility of closing one site, including its associated playing fields, and realising its maximum capital value as a receipt to support the proposals at an alternative site. This work included a robust planning policy assessment of open space in the local area and demonstration that an equivalent or better replacement open space could be provided within the local area.
