Summary

This is a mixed use masterplan for an urban hinterland site in Pontefract.  This local authority led masterplan involved the consideration of how to remodel an existing mixed use area into a high quality environment sandwiched between a proposed new urban extension to the north of Pontefract and the existing town centre.   

The commission involved the consideration of options for a number of key sites, all with existing occupiers and multiple ownerships, in order to create a more appropriate and better connected neighbourhood and gateway to the town.
