David Kemp

Urbanist, Chartered Town Planner and Masterplanner
David is a Senior Associate Urbanist and masterplanner as well as a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. He has a passion for placemaking and over 15 years of professional experience in masterplanning, urban design, planning and architecture. David specialises in urban design and masterplanning which has grown from his study of architecture and town planning. David can provide clients with a strategic view and advocate best practice approaches to creating beautiful, healthy and sustainable places where people can live and work.
Over the last few years David has become a regular guest speaker at the University of Sheffield speaking to Urban Design and Planning students. He also supports research into quality of place, including leading Spawforths involvement in the University College London Place Alliances Housing Audit (2019).
