Rural Crafts Workshop
Summary
This is an award winning, contemporary purpose built workshop for rural craft activities. The twin circular shingle roofs are unique in Great Britain and reflect the natural materials used by the students on campus.
Designed for Pennine Camphill Community this scheme was successfully delivered under a Partnering Contract. Working with the contractor the team provided the client with a series of spaces which house a variety of activities from Horticulture to Basket Weaving.
This building offers students the opportunity to develop their skills in a unique environment. The project received a Highly Commended Award from the RIBA following completion.
