Planning Applications

Spawforths's architecture team have prepared full and reserved matters planning applications for many thousands of houses and apartments over years.  We have also provided services to help refurbish academic facilities build health centres, sports facilities, administrative support facilities and student accommodation.

Working closely with our in-house planning, urbanism and engagement teams we have the broad range of skills necessary to secure planning permission on even the most complex of previously developed and green field sites.

We offer our Clients a full architectural service including concept development, detailed development and project management and coordination of the wider design team. Conversely we can tailor our services  to work with an external project manager/lead consultants.

We work collaboratively with the wider design team, coordinating their outputs to minimise the risk of conflicting information being prepared thus ensuring construction proceeds on site with the minimum of disruption.  

Following the submission of an application we monitor its progress and liaise with the  Planning Officer and the design team to discharge conditions.
